It makes me wonder when British people comment on Americans (whether issues, fans or fandoms) if they generally think we are stupid or are they just upset that they lost their precious colonies. I promise you that most Americans aren’t as stupid as our television shows portray.
This isn’t a bash in any way, I love the UK and the things that come from there, like the respect theatre actors receive, but I really wonder about this. It stems from posts I occasionally see that say something to the tune of “I think it’s the Americans…”.
